Smoking influences the development of ALS…

I thought I’d bring this up as it relates to a type of sclerosis and smoking…and since smoking has been studied in relation to MS as well…

The article on Medical News Today (as always – in the MS section) dated Nov 18th also links ALS disease development to smoking. Smoking is indeed now seen as an established risk factor for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis — a fatal neurodegenerative disease affecting the motor nerves and the voluntary muscles).
